Setting something straight

I am feeling the need to get another blog so that I can reclaim some of my privacy.  I am an open book to most everyone and I love being that way, but some things have changed in the last 10 months and I no longer feel the freedom to tell you all everything.  The new blog would allow me that freedom.  Everyone...except for a couple of people...would be TOTALLY welcome.  That means any and everyone of you bloggy friends could read it at any time...all you would have to do is ask me to invite you.  Sorry for the confusion.  I didn't mean to make you think that you were not welcome to my new blog....when and if I ever get it started!!  Until then, if you want to know any personal questions about how things are going here at our house....friend me on Facebook @ Judith La Fountain Herdklotz.

PS- Giving up desserts for the year was to show "the child that I am most burdened for at the moment" that I love them more than desserts.  Every time I struggle not being able to have a certain dessert...I just tell myself that I love "?" more than desserts.  The more I tell myself this the more I feel the love, the more I feel the love the better I treat this child, the better I treat this child the better this child treats me.  It has been a very interesting 1 1/2 weeks.  I can't wait to see what the Lord does in this child's life this coming year and what He does in mine!!!

WOW! on the dessert front. I am a major sweets addict & that would be so difficult for me. But, I admire what you are doing, and the sacrifice you are making. (I hope the person you are doing it for knows~ I think I kind of read that between the lines.) I will be praying for you and the whole situation. ~ that God will give you grace and mercy, hearts will be softened. God Bless.

Please invite us to your new blog.

I am interested in your dessert fast and am so happy to hear you are already seeing changes. I'll try to remember that when we are home and not invite you to talk over dessert.

Hugs,
Lisa
