I am going to college!!

Lastnight I went to take my college assessment test.  I did much better than I ever imagined that I would!  I figured that I would totally fail the pre-algebra part, but apparently reading Lauren's math book over the weekend really helped me!  My score was a 99, which means that I just tested out of my first class!!  I do not need to take pre-algebra!!  I am not sure if I am smart or if the test was just easy, but I will take it however I got it!  I got a 95 on the reading part and an 84 on the writing part.  This is not a brag post I promise.  I am just so surprised and excited at how well I did.

I may not be able to post for a while again.  I am actually using my wonderful next door neighbor's computer for this post.  Our computer has burned up...literally!  Did you know that you should vacuum out your computer every now and then, or else the dust inside could over heat and catch fire?  Neither did I, but I do now! Well if this had to happen, I will say that the timing was great.  We were given a couple of gifts of money for Christmas, which means we will be able to afford to get a new computer at this time.  I hope to be back to blog land real soon, but I must admit.....I am getting a lot done without the computer pulling me away from my duties.

Wow! You're doing it! You brave woman. I can't wait to read your posts about the weird young kids at college...I couldn't imagine going back now, I'd feel ancient. LOL.

Question - is everyone heading into public school? B/c you just mentioned Lauren. Or are you going part-time so you can still homeschool? What's the plan, girl?!

BTW, congrats on your test scores. I'm not surprised. :)

Congratulations - those are great scores!! When do classes start? I'm excited for you!

Enjoy that new computer! I found that getting our new one all set up was a bit of a hassle, but now I LOVE it! It runs so much faster and has all the new versions of everything. That's wonderful you have the money to buy one.

Sweetheart, I told you that you would do very well on your pre-testing. When you used the brain God gave you and didn't waste it and then graduated with a 98.5 average, could I have any doubt in your abilities to pass these tests. You will do great and don't ever forget I'm one of your biggest cheerleaders. You have done what ever you have set your mind to and I know you are excited about this new adventure and will do very well. Congratulations..you go girl..I love you, Mom
